This is a realistic emergency landing with all of the real announcements and procedures. I think he must have used a downloadable plane or modified version of FSX to land on the water.
I don’t quite get how this person managed to land his 757 in these impossible winds. I like the third view he shows of it because all you see is the plane hovering down onto the runway.
This is a video of an AH - 64D Apache Longbow pushing it to the maximum doing some cool stunts which, personally, I wouldn’t ever be able to do myself!
Undoubtedly the most elegant plane ever to fly, and it makes me sad that it’s no longer flying. This is a nice hi-res video of Concorde in action. My Dad says it used to fly right over his office at 4pm every day.
The fascinating facts about this plane would fill a book. It flew at twice the speed of sound continuously without afterburners, at 67,000 feet at which height you could see the curvature of the earth.
I’ve seen the original wind tunnel test forms they used to design the delta wing shape in The Science Museum in London.
This lovely simulation – Concorde-X – is available from http://www.flightsimlabs.com/ , and has won commendations from the German magazines FS Magazin and FlightXPress.
This is a Halo Jumper that you can download from www.simviation.com. It is the easiest website to download new planes and textures (now there’s an FSX tip for you!). When you download it, you get the Halo Jumper and his parachute.
This is a Boeing 737-400 racing aginst a downloaded Honda. It a straight drag race down the runway and as the video explains, the winner is the one who is in front when the 737 takes off. It is a close win for the 737 by only a few meters.
This is a World Travel Airlines 737 with an engine faliure. Later on in the video, the engine starts responding and the left and nose gear do not go down. When I was watching it, I was going to say ‘best landing ever!’ until the plane fell off the runway.
I spent part of Saturday recording a number of videos that show various fsx tips and tricks. They are all to give you more enjoyment of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Several people have asked me how to perform a good ‘Touch and Go’ – where you barely touch down on a runway and immediately climb.
